India : Anganwadi workers take out procession
Anganwadi workers and assistants took out a procession under the leadership of All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC) here on Friday seeking fulfilment of their various demands, including regularisation of
services, facilities on par with Grade III and IV employees, and a minimum pay of Rs. 18,000.
The agitators took out the procession from the Ambedkar Circle through the main streets of the city to a place outside the Deputy Commissioner’s office. They also raised slogans.
