Canada : MoveUP to hold information demonstrations at four hospitals

MoveUP will be holding information demonstrations on Wednesday and Thursday this week in support of striking workers employed by the BC Nurses.
Please note that
this will not prevent HEU members from entering their work sites. Rather, the purpose of the information line is to raise awareness about the strike among BCN’s membership.
A key issue for MoveUP at the bargaining table has been health benefit concessions.
Information demonstration times and locations:
Wednesday, August 3
5:45 a.m. to 8:15 a.m.
Vancouver General Hospital, St. Paul’s Hospital and BC Children’s and Women’s Hospital
Thursday, August 4
2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Burnaby Hospital
