India : TUs resolve to make general strike a success
Trade unions belonging to Opposition parties held a roundtable meeting here at the district CITU office on Saturday and resolved to serve strike notices to various industries on August 15
to make the general strike proposed on September 2 a grand success.
The general strike has been called to protest against the ‘anti-labour and anti-people economic policies’ of the BJP-led NDA Government at the Centre.
