As you are aware talks at ACAS have broken down, but we continue to try and talk to the company to resolve the dispute. I have reached out to the company again today asking them to match the offer that we received from Abellio ScotRail, which could be a basis of an agreement.
You have shown incredible strength and have stood shoulder to shoulder supporting your fellow colleagues during this bitter dispute. I would like to personally thank you for your support and solidarity during this difficult time. It is without a doubt you have all made incredible sacrifices in order to defend the safety critical role of the guard. I am amazed at how united and supportive you are of your fellow colleagues and the admirable qualities you have all shown during this bitter dispute. However, we must continue to stand united and show our strength of resolve against the despicable tactics.
Once again I thank you all for standing strong during this dispute and I urge you all to continue supporting your colleagues by standing shoulder to shoulder on the front line defending the safety critical role of the guard.
