Israel : Histadrut to mediate between Treasury and Airports
Chairman Avi Nissenkoren of the Histadrut Labor Federation is scheduled to host a meeting, Thursday afternoon, between Chairman Pinchas Idan of the Airports Authority and Amir Levi, who heads the budgets
branch of the Finance Ministry.
The meeting follows word by Airports Authority workers that they will not allow takeoffs between Friday evening and Saturday night at Ben-Gurion Airport, in protest of the Treasury's intent to collect royalties from the Airport Authority.
