Pakistan : Kiln workers stage demo to press demands
TOBA TEK SINGH, Sep 5: Scores of brick kiln workers staged a demonstration to press their demands at Shahbaz Chowk on Sep 4.
The protesters brought a buffalo and played a
flute in front of her as no attention was being paid to their demands by the district administration. They were carrying placards, inscribed with slogans in favour of their demands.
Meanwhile, the hunger strike of Bhatta Mazdoor Union (BMU) district secretary general Muhammad Shabbir entered the seventh day. He was observing hunger strike for payment of fixed wages to the kiln workers.
